Testimonials

“I did the STMG baccalauréat – subjects like law and group management were key instruments at the start of my career, but also on a personal level when it came to dealing with contracts, entering the world of work and working with colleagues.

The standard of languages was also very high. This enabled me to take the IELTS exam to enrol at EDHEC Business School, where I completed my studies entirely in English. Today, I work for an American company and I mainly communicate in English with my colleagues.”

Julieta Somoya, a former student who graduated in 2017

Senior Partner Marketing Manager at Talkdesk in Barcelona

“Rigour, analysis and critical thinking are skills I developed at Vauban, thanks in particular to my French and philosophy classes, and they remain a true compass today in both my personal and professional life.

My last two years at Vauban were filled with joy, happiness and learning. I have very fond memories of my classmates, many of whom are still close friends today, as well as of the caring teachers who shared their knowledge and enthusiasm with passion.”

Pasha Mammadov, a former student who graduated in 2017

Consultant/Economics Analyst at Asian Development Bank (ADB)

“At Vauban, we were encouraged to take an interest in a wide range of subjects, think outside the box, ask questions, debate and explore. We weren’t afraid to make mistakes – on the contrary, it was seen as a normal stage of learning.
This attitude still helps me every day, whether for learning, adapting to new environments or simply engaging with new ideas and different people.”

Valerio Bertino, a former student who graduated in 2018

Mid-Market Account Executive at DeepL in London

“I’d give anything to relive some of my high school days at Vauban. I experienced some intense and formative moments there, on a deeply human level. Those two years – full of experiences and encounters – really helped to shape the person I am today.

If I had to pick one stand-out memory, it would be both my first and my last day at Vauban. In less than two years I went from being a stranger in the corridors to a fully integrated student, greeting and appreciating everyone. Even today, I still come back, with pride and emotion, to see the people who watched me grow during that time.”

Guillaume Danloy, a former student who graduated in 2016

Director, Asset Owner Solutions at IQ-EQ in London
