About the school

Vauban, a benchmark school in Luxembourg, welcomes students from the age of three until the baccalauréat, within a modern and multicultural environment. Thanks to its accreditation by the French state, it guarantees teaching that meets French education standards, while incorporating innovative pedagogical methods.

Its demanding educational programme combines academic rigour with an international outlook, enhanced by intensive language teaching, personalised support and a wide range of services dedicated to students’ well-being.

As a member of the AEFE network, Vauban allows students to enjoy seamless continuity in their education internationally and to access higher education in France or abroad, depending on their chosen direction.

Vauban is proud to belong to the global AEFE network, which comprises 600 schools located in 138 countries. This unique network ensures a harmonised and internationally recognised education, providing students with a rigorous, globally oriented curriculum that is adapted to international challenges. Thanks to this affiliation, students can continue their schooling without interruption, wherever they are in the world, and gain access to leading higher-education programmes.

The Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) organises its network into 16 geographical zones, each structured around a Regional Training Institute (IRF). This structure promotes collaborative work between schools within the same zone and enables the provision of joint training programmes to develop staff competencies.

Vauban belongs to the North-West Europe and Scandinavian Zone (ZENOS), whose Regional Training Institute is based at the Lycée français Jean-Monnet in Brussels, Belgium.
