Primary school hours

Kindergarten - Access via door 5

  • From 8 a.m. : pupils are welcomed in the playground
  • From 8.15 to 8.30 a.m. : pupils are welcomed in the classrooms
  • 12.20 to 12.30 p.m. or 1.30 to 1.45 p.m. (after lunch) - on Tuesdays and Thursdays : end of the school day
  • 3.50 to 4.00 p.m. - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays : end of the school day

Elementary school - Access via door 4

  • From 8 a.m. : pupils are welcomed in the playground
  • From 8.15 to 8.30 a.m. : pupils are welcomed in the classrooms
  • 8.30 a.m. : classes begin
  • 12.30 p.m. or 1.30 to 1.45 p.m. (after lunch) - on Tuesdays and Thursdays : end of the school day
  • 4.00 p.m. - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays : end of the school day

Middle and high school hours

The hours have been adjusted to avoid rushing, jostling and gatherings between lessons, as much as possible, by allowing sufficient time for students to move around between classes. The aim is also to ensure that each lesson has a consistent and equivalent duration, with clear sound signals marking the start and end of each class.

  • 5-minute breaks between classes (end of one class and start of the next)
  • 20-minute break in the morning and the afternoon
  • Students are considered late if they arrive after the sound signal marking the start of the class.

Getting to the school and parking

Coming by car

Two vehicle access points:

  • from the Gluck roundabout via boulevard Kockelscheuer
  • from rue Raiffeisen

Vehicle access to the site is via rue de la Francophonie only

Parking is prohibited on boulevard Kockelscheuer and rue de la Francophonie

Coming by tram

Tram stop: Lycée Vauban (T1 towards Findel - Luxembourg Airport or Gasperich, Stadion)

Bus stops: Francophonie, Hildegard Von Bingen and Gerhard Mercator (about a 3-minute walk from the main entrance)

Drop-off zone rules

In the school drop-off zone, the speed limit is 20 km/h and the maximum parking time is 3 minutes.

Crossing the solid line is not permitted: all vehicles leaving the site must continue to the roundabout, where they can turn around and exit.

Parents accompanying kindergarten pupils may use the visitor car park (maximum parking time: 7 minutes).

Two parking spaces are reserved for people with reduced mobility.
